Patch or seal it
Hairline cracks and small chips in a slab that is still level can often be patched or sealed. If the concrete has not moved, it may not need replacing yet.
Driveways, patios, walls and slabs first, plus the decks, fences and framing that go with them.

Medina Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Powder Springs, GA, and our concrete services cover the flatwork most homes need: driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps and slabs, plus the retaining walls that keep a sloped lot from washing out underneath them. Owner Francisco Medina prices every one of those jobs himself.
Most of the work here sits on Georgia red clay. It holds water, it moves a little as it wets and dries, and it is the reason two slabs poured the same week can age very differently. So the part of the job you never see, the grading, the compacted base, the steel and the pitch that sends rain away, gets the most attention. The finish on top is the choice you get to enjoy: a plain broom finish, stamped concrete in a stone pattern, or a stained surface.
The outdoor builds and carpentry grew out of the concrete. A new patio often needs a deck above it or a pergola over it, a yard gets a fence once the grade is fixed, and a slab for a garage or an addition needs framing on top. Doing those with the same contractor means the person who poured the slab knows what is going on it.
We work across Cobb, Paulding and Douglas counties. See the service areas page for the towns, or call (678) 658-3639 for a free estimate.
Choosing
Most projects start with one of these four questions. The free estimate is where we answer it for your yard.
Hairline cracks and small chips in a slab that is still level can often be patched or sealed. If the concrete has not moved, it may not need replacing yet.
A driveway or walk that has sunk, heaved or broken into pieces usually has a failed base underneath. Breaking it out and pouring new on a rebuilt base is the fix that lasts.
If runoff is undercutting a slab or washing out a slope, a retaining wall, a swale or a change in pitch may matter more than new concrete.
A sound slab can carry a pergola, a deck can go over a patio, and a level yard is ready for a fence. Sometimes the right job is building on top.
